Senior Manager Financial Program Control
Position Overview:
The Senior Manager Financial Program Control position supports multiple multi-million dollar Government programs. Selected candidate provides "cradle-to-grave" program controls financial analysis to support program management. The selected candidate would provide expert pricing, cost and schedule analysis, funding analysis, and sales and earnings analysis to the program manager utilizing company tools and process. Involves significant interaction with senior leadership, program/project managers, accounting and contracts personnel, senior technical personnel, and other functional or support organizations. Implements and ensures compliance with financial policies and procedures in support of the project. Responsibilities include the oversight and performance/creation of baseline implementation, EACs, contractual reporting requirements, earned value reporting and variance analysis, and sales forecasting. Selected candidate prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding the results of related financial analysis and directly supports contractual reporting requirements and deliverables. Selected candidate manages the work of the program finance team by providing oversight, mentoring and coaching. Provide resources to assist the product line in developing the necessary processes and work instructions to effectively manage their programs. Work with program management and Account Managers to integrate earned value processes and reporting into their normal work activities. Must be able to work within rapidly changing business environment and make critical decisions that are based upon sound CAS, EVMS/financial principles. Candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints. Position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance/direction as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management. Position requires travel to customer and subcontractor facilities.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong background in Federal and/or DoD programs
- Expert pricing, cost and schedule analysis, funding analysis, and sales analysis
- Solid experience with EACs
- Proficient computer skills including detailed knowledge in the development, implementation, and modification of MS Word documents, MS Excel spreadsheets
- Extensive experience with Earned Value Management and MS Project
- Team lead experience
- Strong ability to coordinate and build rapport with all disciplines: Technical, Management, Accounting, Contracts, Supply Chain Management, and Human Resources
- Possesses the ability to lead and teach others
- Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
